New
Compact Commander SK for 3kW to 7.5kW motors
We have added an extra frame size in the
middle of the Commander SK range (pictured to the right); the new
frame Size D drive is approximately 40% smaller than its
predecessor, Size 2, and offers ratings from 200V,1 phase at 3kW
upto 400V, 3 phase at 7.5kW. We believe it is the most compact 7.5
kW drive available worldwide.
Further additions to the range are 0.25kW
and 0.37kW, 110V input, 200V output. These are produced in the
smallest frame size, Commander SK Size A.

New SM-EtherCAT option
module
Our latest option module is the SM-EtherCAT, the Ethernet
real-time based deterministic high performance protocol.
“We have been monitoring the market and have chosen EtherCAT
because we believe it offers superior performance“ says Control
Techniques’ Product Manager, System Integration Products, Imad
Rajraji. “EtherCAT is the first in the range of real-time
Ethernet solutions to be introduced by Control Techniques with more
real-time protocols to follow,” he says.
The module is for use with Control Techniques’ full range of AC
and servo drives from 0.37 kW simple conveyor or pump control,
through high precision servo applications to high power 1.9 MW
multi-mode drives. This allows customers to standardise their
network across the whole machine.
New SM-I/O 32
Extended digital I/O option module adding 32 bi-directional I/O
points and compatible with Commander SK, Unidrive SP and Digitax
ST.
